Color Exchanges, Texturings and the Power of Flight. |
Birds always fascinated and intimidated me while I grew up among 150 trees in a late 1800s home. Doodles of birds always appeared in my student notebooks, as did horses and dogs, but unlike the latter, the birds never rated oil colors and canvases until 1998.
My feathered subjects are expressive spirits who, to date, launch new color combinations that then evolve in new subjects, animal, vegetable, mineral. |
